Plays soccer
On the fuzzy grass
In the late afternoon
To win an important tournament

Takes care of me
In the house
All the time

In the house
Anytime
Because she loves me

In my small garden
To find rats

My little brother Graham
Plays with Sparky the dog
In our driveway

My friend Alexa
Reads to me One Grain of Rice
On her cozy living room couch
In the afternoon
Because she is a great friend

My little Daisy pup
Is the cutest pup in the world
In the grass hopping like a bunny
Late at night
Because she is just a baby

A sky with no birds
A house with nothing inside

Can You Imagine?
A pen with no ink
A brain that can't think
And a girl who hates pink
A flower with no pedal
A winner without a metal
And a stove with no kettle
A girl with no hair
A bed that's so rare
A cat without a purr
A dog without fur
A frog without green
A bully that isn't mean
A bumble with no bee
A mug without tea
A party without balloons
A zoo without baboons
Corn without a cob
A cry without a sob
A runner without sneakers
A radio without speakers
And science without beakers

A window without a pane
A storm with no rain
A sky with no birds
A life with no nerds
A house with no door
The sun with no core

Can You Imagine?
An earthquake that doesn't shake
A birthday without a cake
An old man without a cane
A thunderstorm without rain

A peach for a house

Rhetorical Question Poems

Money's Feelings
I wonder if money likes to be spent.
I suppose it does.
I wonder how it feels to go all around the world.
I suppose it feels good.
By Colton

Wonder of Houses
I wonder if a house likes people.
I suppose they do.
They have furniture and friends
Good times and bad times
Some in between
By Sydney

Books,Books,Books
I wonder if covers like pages.
They probably do.
They are always stuck together.
They make a great team.
If they were apart would they still make a book?
No, I don't think so.
By Kayla

Trees Feelings
I wonder if trees mind leaves.
I don't think so.
Leaves are all over a tree.
Leaves are swaying on a tree.
Trees say, "That is fun."
By Roberto

Footballs
I wonder if footballs like to be thrown.
I suppose they do.
Because they always get caught.
By Joey

Shoes
I wonder if feet like shoes.
I think so
Because mostly everywhere I go
My feet wear shoes.
By Reagan

I Wonder
I wonder if horses like saddles.
Probably not.
I wonder about that because when you put the saddle on
The girth squeezes their belly.
By Regan

I Wonder
I wonder if mice like being small.
I suppose they don't.
They're so small they can get stepped on.
By Emily

Soccer Balls
I wonder if soccer balls like to be kicked.
I guess so
Because in soccer games they use soccer balls to play the game.
Without soccer balls
They could not play the game.
By Blake

I Wonder
I wonder if hair likes to be cut.
I think it does
Because it will grow way to long
If you never cut it.
By Nicholas

Feelings of Tears
I wonder how tears keep going.
I suppose they do
Because when you're sad or glad
Tears still come
Always in you.
By Abby

Cloud Shapes
I guess clouds like
To make animals, toys, and a lot of stuff
And I hope they like colors
Because they end a rainbow
By Ava
