5 W Poems

Easter
Chocolate bunnies, marshmallow chicks and Dr. Seuss Books
In my basket
When I wake up.
I love Easter!

Socks
The socks ran
Down the street
At 1:00 AM.
A pair of socks was running away from his owner.

Yo-yo
Walked the dog
Down the street
In the afternoon.
For fun and exercise.
By the Poets in Room 101

Skateboard
When I skateboard down the street,
Down a hill it jiggles my feet
At PM 12:30.
It makes me think of Kirby!

Food
Dances
In the cafeteria
At 12:00PM.
So nobody will eat them.

Ducks
Went swimming
In the lake
Over the summer.
To cool off!

Flowers
Grow
In the garden
At Spring time.
So they will look beautiful!

Snow
Drifting down
At the cabin
In the middle of the afternoon.
Because itıs winter.

My Mom
The best mom ever
She dances
At my house
At 6:00 o'clock.
To make her happy!

Colors
Played with me
In the yard
Summer time.
To have some exercise!

Pokka dots
Pokka dots danced on Alleana's dress
At recess
In the afternoon.
To make me happy

Horses
Jumped the gate
At the barn At 3:00 PM in the afternoon.
So she will not miss the race!

Fruit
Went swimming with pizza
On my tray, in the cafeteria
At noon.
For fun!

Friends
Run and play
Outside
At 1:00 PM.
For fun!

Rocks
Rocks formed from lava and ash
Inside the mountain
Along time ago.
As lava cools.

Quilts
Hang on the wall
In the bedroom
During winter.
To warm the room.

My Mom
Lets me take the dog
On a walk
At night.
Before it goes to sleep.
