Rainy Day Recesses
I like them.
Ask me why.
Because I like to get so wet when I go to the bathroom
and splash in the sidewalk puddles.
Because I don't have to freeze and then line up to come back in the classroom.
Because I have time to finish up my work in class
instead of going to Responsibility Center.
Because I get to play games like Rock 'Em, Sock 'Em, Robots.
Because, because, because.
That's why.

Because the electricity goes out.
Because I can turn on my light for the hoop on my parents' door.
Because I get to splash in icy, cold, wet puddles.
Because I get to catch raindrops on my tongue.

Because instead of going outside to play,
I get to play racing on my Play Station 2 with my father.
Because I get to stay inside a warm house with a warm fire and hot cocoa.
Because I get to spend more time with my family.
Because the sound of the rain helps me sleep unless my sister wakes me up.
Because, because, because.

I like rainy days at home.

I like them.

Because I get to splash in the puddles and get my clothes dirty.
Because it feels like Iım taking a shower and staying out there until night.
Because I could stay awake until the next day.
Because I could sleep in the puddles and get my hair dirty.

and I get to drive my mom crazy with the flashlight.
Because I get delicious hot chocolate that my dad makes.
Because my brother canıt tease me because he can't find me
even with his flashlight.
Because my mom can't type on the computer and she has time for me.

At the mountains eating grass,
The buffalo is eating grass with other buffalo.
One buffalo hit something metal.
And kicked it with his leg and water spouted up and they had fresh water.
There is a buffalo in a cage
Eating burnt grass.
I think that buffalo looks sad in that cage.
I want to ask the owner to let it go.
I hope he says yes.
In Buffalo, Missouri
The buffaloes graze in their home sweet fenced grass.
Mr. Ox eats the burnt grass for breakfast.
Then he goes to Buffalo River.
Mr. Ox drinks until he cant feel his stomach.

Are on the Great Wall of China.
The fireworks are very pretty.
It will be famous because its next to the Great Wall of China.
The people of China are celebrating the Scorpion Year.

On a nice sunny day,
A man is kayaking and having fun.
I wish I was there.
That way I could see dolphins.

That is very dark and dirty,
Four pirates are very happy
To find a treasure chest,
And they got lots of gold.
Theyıre at a party
On April 5, 2006,
Four pirates are dancing
To find hidden treasure in the sea.
And they got a lot of money.

At Disneyland!
Jackson, Amy, and Danielle are on the teacup ride.
Every second they spin faster and faster!
Then they headed back to the hotel.
Disneyland
The happiest place on Earth
The teacups are always fun at Disneyland.
I hope no one gets sick from spinning.
Now the children have to go to a new ride. I hope it was fun.
Children are at Disneyland.
The children are riding the teacup in Disneyland.
The girls and boy are having fun riding the teacup.
The girl is wearing the mouse ears.
The teacup is fun.

All alone in Memphis, Tennessee on a cold day in December.
An early, anxious Fresno State Bulldog fan waits alone
For the Liberty Bowl Game to begin.
And his hometown team to score the first touchdown of the game.
