Observations we can make about our A-peeling Apple Experiment
October 25, 2008

when you bite the apples (like we did in our taste testing) we could feel the juiciness in the apples

all of the forms and varieties of apples are losing juice or water

water is evaporating

the peel is protecting the apple like our skin protects us

the whole apple lost the least amount of water

the peeled apple was squishy and soft

the chopped apples got moldy, had black stuff;

    they were fuzzy, brown, and disgusting

the Red Delicious and Golden Delicious chopped apple lost the same amount of water

day-by-day, all the forms (whole, peeled, chopped) lost water

we learned how the water in apples evaporates
